The aesthetic injectable landscape is moving beyond traditional volumization.

Skin boosters, connective tissue biostimulators and regenerative injectables are increasingly being used with the aim  to improve dermal quality, elasticity, hydration and texture rather than simply replacing lost volume.

In  2026  we  have been assisting to an expansion of  focused  publications on   specifically groups HA, CaHA, PLLA, polynucleotides, PRP and the exosome-based approaches under the expanding “skin booster” concept.

This also fits the current emphasis on natural, dynamic results.

A 2026 international HA-filler consensus emphasizes assessment of how the face looks, feels and moves, rather than treating static facial landmarks alone, in  a patient- centered, tailored approach.  The main actors in this  new approach are CaHA and PLLA as collagen stimulators, polynucleotides, combination injectable protocolsa avoidance of over-volumization, with an Increasing emphasis on tissue quality rather than facial volume.
